The GSGB
The Goldfish Society of Great Britain (GSGB) was formed in 1948. We are a Society that welcomes members who are either new to the interesting hobby of keeping Fancy Goldfish or are hobbyists who have bred and shown their fish. For those new to the hobby, or thinking about starting to keep fish, the Society offers information, support, and help where required.
As a member you will receive four Newsletters per year, access to a Members' on-line Discussion Group, one-to-one advice and support. In addition, when current restrictions allow, there will be annual Spring Conventions with good quality speakers and an Autumn Show where the best fish in Britain can be seen and the chance to show your own fish, whether you have bred them or reared them.
From time to time there will be one-off events such as meetings and ‘Growing-On’ challenges where members can take a fish donated by Star Fisheries to grow on and compare at a later date against other members taking part in this challenge.
